Megan and Danny’s wedding was my very last wedding of 2009 and I cannot think of a better way to end this fantastic year. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet and their day was a simple celebration of their solid, lovely relationship and their new vows.
Danny and Megan are high school sweethearts from Southern California who currently live just outside of Chicago as Danny finishes his Ph.D. They wanted to have their wedding here in SoCal and wanted to make sure their photos captured the parts of Southern California they miss the most- the weather and the beach. We had so much fun shooting the portraits on the Santa Monica Pier… These are a few of my favorites.

This is a lovely and fun shoot! Especially love the Santa Monica Pier pics. You can see the look of surprise and enjoyment from the bystanders, and Megan and Danny are having a great time. You’ve got quite an artful eye, my sweet niece! Happy New Year! =-)

Heather you took BEAUTIFUL pictures! My Mom grew up 2 blocks from the pier and all the way to the wedding she kept saying how wonderful it was to have her Granddaughter married in her childhood neighborhood. I can’t wait for her to see these pictures! They will be cherished by our family forever.
