The other night Meg and I went to The Knot Industry event at Dodgers Stadium. They had this fun photobooth there with some props… one of them happened to be a wedding veil and since Meg is recently engaged (!!), we had some fun with it. 
You can just ignore the third photo down… neither of us were ready for that one…

My Labor Day weekend was spent photographing two fabulous weddings in the Bay Area. The first was Katie and Scott’s fabulous wedding in San Francisco. I was super happy to be invited by Christopher Robb to photograph this wedding with him since both the Grace Cathedral and St. Regis Hotel San Francisco were new and amazing locations for me. Not to mention, Katie and Scott were so sweet and fun and really made their wedding day a great celebration!
I LOVED Katie’s bouquet… so beautiful.

Here is Part II of their amazing wedding day celebration. (See Part I here.)
The whole wedding took place at The Regency Club in Westwood, CA. The eremony was gorgeous, funny and emotional. The reception that followed was a true par-tay! So much fun!
The rings. Sam had Justin’s ring engraved with “Happily Every After” since she is a huge, huge Disney fan.

The par-tay! Every single person who attended rocked out on the dance floor thanks to the fabulous DJ Bizzy. Also Mark Rent was amazing singing and playing some favorites on the piano.

Sam and Justin are fabulous and amazing- I knew that from the moment I arrived at their engagement session back in May. They are kind, fun and stylish and I knew their wedding would be nothing short of a beautiful, exciting celebration. The wedding at The Regency Club in Westwood, CA was far beyond anything I could imagine and I had so much fun– by the end of the party, I felt like I had been a guest rather than the hired photographer… a guest who just happened to take tons of photos. 
Tabitha Donegan of TBD Events was truly amazing. She rocked every detail, made the event flawless and was sweet, kind and fun the whole way through. Love her! She was key to implementing Sam’s vision for her wedding day– bright, colorful, chic, fun, pink and gorgeous.
I found it so difficult to choose favorite images from the day…here are just some from getting ready and some of the bride and groom portraits. Ceremony, reception and many details to follow!

Sam surprised Justin with a rockin’ watch as a wedding day gift. I went over to catch the reaction… definitely the reaction Sam wanted to see!

Then it was time to head over to The Regency Club for more portraits before the ceremony. Justin looked so handsome… and I loved him against this view from the penthouse of the club.
