Annie & Joe: Married!! Lake Oak Meadows – Temecula, CA – Part 1 of 2

July 5, 2009

How I adore Annie and Joe! I met them last year when we met about their wedding in May and then I photographed their engagement session last August, so it had been quite a while since I had seen them before the wedding. But, I knew their wedding would be so much fun just based on how much fun we had together at the e-session. I was totally right… I had an amazing day with them and all of their fun friends and family. We joked, laughed, danced and had a great time taking photos around Lake Oak Meadows. Thanks to the ranch staff and to Rose for putting together such a lovely day!

There are so so many photos I want to post from this wedding, so there will be a part 2 post coming soon. A huge thanks to Heidi Ryder for helping me shoot this wedding!

The ceremony. One of the flower girls was quite shy.

A classic horse and carriage brought Annie and her dad to the ceremony site. It really felt much like a fairy tale.

Happy 4th!!!

My Grandmother was a deeply patriotic woman and taught me from a young age what it means to be an American, and how grateful we all should be for the country we live in and for the rights we have. Especially in light of everything that is going on in the world right now, I’m going to remember how lucky I am to live in a free nation as I celebrate with family this weekend and hope you all do the same. :) Happy 4th!
